The cover for the first Dylan book has arrived from RedDoor. We had a lot of debate about the initial concepts. I had produced a series of GIMP covers myself in melodramatic shades of grey and black which I thought really looked like spy stories. And of course that was the problem. They looked like every other spy novel. The new cover with its backdrop of Rio de Janeiro in the 70s captures not just time and place but, hopefully, mystery and adventure as well. It pays to turn to the professionals.
